I drove 100 miles just to pick it up .... i waited 2 weeks to be transported from las vegas... All i can say is it was well worth the wait!!!!! way funner than driving my 04 545i......

 

This was the exact setup I want!!! I think I might go with 18s but not sure yet. Also, gunmetal might be an option. Do you have any more photos of this beautiful beast?

First step on the MINI ladder, and LOVING every moment!

 

Well guess I'll post some old pics I have. Need to find my expedition to find a hotspring offroad pics, but this will do for now:



I saw one other mini while i was cruising to Breckenridge during a snowstorm. Everyone else either had 4x4 Jeeps or trucks and kept honking as i passed. Well except for one person from Texas in a Camry w/ no chains that kept slamming on their brakes until they slid into a snowbank on the side.

 

Love my PS R50. What do you think are the best rims to go with this model? Looking for some 17"x7,5". I like BBS LM but they are way to expensive - any other cool rims out there?

 

kgibs0n, love the pic of the Albuquerque/Flagstaff sign! Would be nice to motor out that way sometime and get a shot myself.

 

Pure Silver FTW!!! PS with black roof/mirrors, tinted windows, black bonnet stripes, very stealthy and understated. Plan on doing a bit more blacking out as well.

And like others, I love how he just kind of blends in, rather than sticks out.

 

Some great looking cars here. Even though the Pure Silver is "stealthier" than other colors, it amazes me how many looks, glances, and hard stares it gets from other drivers when on the road.

CK - I like the lower grill/areo kit on the front of yours and your center stripes just change my mind about the offset stripe. I'm also doing the angled Mini stripe on the side.

Only mods are short ram and rear wiper delete.

Thanks neighbor!! I think the offset would look great also, but I definitely prefer the narrow appearance. Please post a photo after you get the side stripe done. I'd like to see how that looks.

(BTW, you're absolutely correct - PS does rule )

Dealer told me this is the last PS to be delivered to the STL due to MINI discontinueing it as an option.

Another PS owner checking in. I love my 02 S. 120xxx miles and just as good as day one!

 

Here's my former ride...had to give her up 14 months ago when moving back to Canada from SoCal...I'm having PS MCS withdrawl syndrome




Good news is I just placed an order for a new Countryman...in Crystal Silver ...closest I could get to the blessed PS. Can I post it here when I take delivery or must I start my own thread

I love my badges. I don't understand going stealth (unless i was murdering my car out), there is a huge difference in sound with the other minis and the JCW, why try and hide it visually?
