I have had two R53's in Dark silver and I finally made the jump to an R56, but this time I went with the Pure Silver. I can't wait to start modding it!

 

yeah it's addictive. I painted all the black trim silver and just bought some black OZ wheels, big difference in look, I like the more clean, sleek look. I'll have some pics up when I'm done, hopefully this weekend.

 

I searched through the threads to put together the logos I have. Just takes some time, plus some TLC using Paint Shop pro (or whatever paint software you have).

Thanks! I got it July 27th, its a 2009 MCS, 33000 miles (plates have not arrived still). You like the silver roof? I have been wishing it was black. Thought about having it vinyl wrapped, then I can always take it off if I change my mind. LOL

 

Yeah, I think it's cool... Definitely not as common as black (like mine). Dig the extra fog lights too.

 

I recently bought a 09 Clubman JCW - Pure Silver all around (Body, Roof & Rear C-Pillar) with Black Jack Mirror Caps.

Thinking of adding White Bonnet Stripes. Does anyone have a picture of a similar Cooper?

 

white on silver? could be cool. I had black on mine and pulled them off, was thinking of the black stripe with the white edge or the bouble black stripe down the center????
It's hard to decise without seeing pics.

Yeah, thanks... shot with my iPhone, and edited with a couple different apps. The DOF is an app called TiltShiftGen... it's my secret weapon. HA HA!

 

My 09 S is pure silver on pure silver too. Love the contrast with the black trim and glass, sunroof! & definitely not as common as the black roof. any other color and the contrasting roof is better looking, IMHO
