Mine's called "Duchess" because she was previously owned by Sarah Ferguson Duchess of York. I bought her from Park Lane Mini in Mayfair London, which makes me sound a bit of a snob, but I'm from a little known town called Redditch 12 miles from Stratford Upon Avon. Duchess had only 2,440 miles on the clock when I bought her, she is in Hyper Blue, no body kit, but thanks to Sarah, The Duchess does have the 210 bhp JCW tuning kit, which was added after her initial run in period. I was told Sarah asked for the addition after she had watched BBC's Top Gear report on John Cooper Works tuning; maybe she just wanted more power to get a better chance of outrunning the paparazzi.
Who knows.

 

We call our 2008 Clubman S "Maw", as in GAPING! We absolutely LOVE the driving part of our MINI but the amount of money we have already dumped into it maintenence in 2-1/2 years of ownership is absurd. It would probably be cheaper and just as reliable if we had our '67 twin tank 1275 AUSTIN Cooper S to drive as our main driver.

 

Mortimer - Mo for short.

 

His name is Junior.. i didn't think a name would come but were talking bout him one night and the name "Junior" slipped completely unplanned and it was agreed Junior was the absolute perfect name for him and his personality we noticed thus far (2014 Countryman S All4... cosmic blue with white bonnet/boot stripes).

 

Of course she has a name! In our MINI club you get "Boo'd" if you haven't named your MINI. Mine is named TWEETY. She has been with me now for 11 years and is still as much joy to motor in as she was that first day she came to stay with me. She couldn't be more perfect.

 

Mine is black widow.

 

I've never named any of my cars and every car my wife has named has died a gruesome death (One was driven off of a cliff in CO, and the other blew a head gasket)

So my mini will remain nameless

 

My wife chose "Winnie".

 

Ours is called Bitsy

Last one was Percy, the 2013 is Leonard. (My Granddads names)

I'm still deciding! I just bought my 2010 Mini Cooper Clubman this past week, it's all black but I already have a ton of stuff ordered for it! Mostly bright green stuff (stripes and badges). Anyways I'm stuck between the names Kermit and Yoda! What do you guys think? I'll get pics posted next week once I add all the mods. Thanks!

Finally named mine! Yoshi (black with green stripes)

 

Lucy. The voice on my old garmin navi was Lucy. So is the plant on my desk. If I had a house cleaner her name would be changed to Lucy also.

 

After much debate I have finally named my MINI "Road Runner". I was originally going to name her "Red Robin" because of the CR/W but I think the former suites the characteristics better. Quick in a dash, sharp on the corners, light on it's feet.... yup, that sounds right. I think if it were a base model Robin might have fit better.
