Here are some new things going on with the Beastie...
These are of course prior to the new valve cover.

The boot door cover and the shelf for the back of the rear seat.

The boot sans bumper with streamlined lights.

So I get home from Dions andmy radiator overflow (which is the same size as the carbon filter in some Minis for those wnating to use that mounting bit on the metal for something usefull.)

I of course had to checker that too....
They come in red black and I think yellow also.
Good looking tank.

I don't do the crazy checkers myself but love to do them for others. Here's a couple I did at MITM.

This one was Checker crazy. She added checker A Panel toppers side checks and Check centercaps. Waiting to get more pictures.

I don't have a current pic of El Kabong's checkered details, but here's a pic of the trailer I just finished. I'll be using this to go to the track for DEs and to MOTD5.

Checkers you say! I've got a few and I'm working on more. So far: checkered roof around the panoramic sunroof, checkered side view mirrors - they don't make the rear view mirror cover for the 2002 - I want one , Hella driving lights with checkered covers, custom lisence frames, checkered detail at the top of the boot viper stripe, Rouge Mini checkered eyes (love 'em), JCW checkered front floormats, type S brand checkered floormats in the boot, back seat pulls made from checkered shoelaces, checkered covered glove box organizer, and a checkered umbrella in the boot!
Soon to be added are the custom checkered side stripes sitting in a box in my kitchen. I have chickened out so I am going to have them installed. I don't want to mess it up!
If that isn't enough several pairs of shoes with checkered laces, a custom cap with checkers and EXIRA K embroidered on it, sweat pants with checked side seams, a Death Kitty warm up jacket with checkered sleeves, checkered flip flops, and of course checkered sunglasses (a different style than the Queen B has) .
I hope this is enough to make me a part of the club. I'm not usually much of a joiner, but I do like to be extreme! One pic in my signature, others in my gallery. I hope to add more soon with the other recent mods I've made. Can you say compulsive?? I've only owned the car since June 26, 2006 and it only had the checkered roof!

I'm not sure, but since they are the same seats you could order them. But I decided to save for the JCW seats.

Here is how I retain my throne as the checkerboard king.

Look for the checkerboard stripe on the helmet, and the reflection from the back "shelf"

Look at the boot door and the radiator overflow.

Some excellent additions I see... I was planning on doing a trailer for my Mini with checkerboard. I love that trailer! Love the pepper white roof.... Nice imagination!

Socks, watch and earrings

Close up of the earrings

Here's a great carry-all I keep in the back. It is also just the perfect size to carry my helmet!

More Checkers

I just finished changing the arch lights to clear/smoke. The last of the red/orange is gone. Yes! Snapped a few photos to show off the changes for other threads. So while I was at it I figured I show off the boot checkers. Next week I'm having side stipe checkers installed. Photos to come!

Hey TanchoGirl, where did you find those floor mats? I've been trying to find a set for backup and those look really nice!

My new fading checkerboard side stripes (be sure to enlarge the thumbnail as I can not figure out how to post full size photos - sorry). I had these side stripes custom made a couple of months ago. Then I feared I would mess them up if I did the installation. I found someone local with install experience and now they're on Exira K. Yea!

Do I get points for uniqueness, if not quantity ?

You may have already seen this thread:

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ad.php?t=84977

So... side mirror caps, valve stem covers, decals for the warning labels on the sun visors, checkmate eyes in the engine bay, interior rear view mirror cap (as soon as Santa says I can put it on), and now my gas cap lid decal.

As I stated in the referenced thread, my next project is to find checkered door sill plates. Has anyone done that yet ?

I would not do it myself, but it is nice looking and original.

What you got for the classics?

I have most everything you can think of, but I'm always looking for more.

checkered steering wheel center?

Somewhere I saw a picture of a cover for the center of the steering wheel with checkers and MINI logo. Can anyone tell me where one can be purchased? Thanks!

Maybe we can talk Mike into making checkerboard vinyl that would cover the dash.
