never posted in here, but a proud owner since we ordered back in Oct 2003 and picked up Monty in Jan 2004 from Tom Bush Mini in Jacksonville (even though we live in South Florida)

Here's a few pics now that we have put on new stripes and the new Aero kit.

We have Blue Flame exhaust, so we couldn't use the rear valance, but front and sides look great!

and our new stripes actually fade from checkered to full white, so its not the sun and the camera angle.

 

Since COOP310 no longer has an Indi Blue MINI, he asked me to take over the list. Let's keep the IB MINIs coming!

Long time lurker, never a post-er. Usually hanging out a psmini.org. Here's my membership card -- 2004 IB/IB MCS (It is the best color!). Just put in the Alta 15%. Have a CAI, 22mm, etc., still to come.

 

Nice IB w/ IB roof... I've only seen 1 or 2 besides mine

Every time I did the configurator (or whatever it's called) I did IB/IB. After searching for 6 months I found a used one and never looked back. Love the IB/B, too. But the IB/IB is my all-time No. 1. Only thing I didn't want but settled for (beggars can't be choosers) was a sunroof. Not sure why, but I'm not a big fan of the MINI sunroof. The inability to completely block off the glass bugs me. To date, I have not been able to find an aftermarket product that blocks off the window better than the mesh. If there's a thread on this topic, perhaps some of the senior members of NAM can point me in the right direction?

(And by senior, of course, I mean the youngsters who just so happen to have been on this forum for longer than myself).

While I've never really minded the Sunroof, there is the 'Blackout/Whiteout/Blueout' possible with Mike @ Aesthetic Creations. He did the 'whiteout' on my roof prior to putting on the Tribal Dragon. He can do it Solid or 'Meshed'. The Blue Vinyl he used for my Tribal Dragon was actually bought to go with HB, but on the White roof, it comes off dark enough to look close to IB. May want to look at that...

 

Is to get the sunroof tinted! I have 15% on mine, and it makes a HUGE difference. You could probably go all the way down to 5% and still get *some* light though...but tint plus the shade should get you just about right.

Past that, I'd highly recommend Mike at AC as well!

This is my second blue car (the first being a electric blue type colored 73' 240 Z) and I'm in love, normally I'm a red or a black.

Can you change my name on the list from dieann to blumeni? I changed my username because I'm getting blumeni plates in honor of my first blue Mini that I had 20 years ago. She was a beater car and everyone in England was very afraid of my driving!

He has an 03 or 04 IB/W MCS JCW+...

Although I don't think he's been active lately in the PSMINI club, I know he was able to get certain 'one of' and 'limited production' items for his JCW, direct from the UK. His IB is a freakin monster.

 

Well, I am finally joining...I did not know where this thread went for too long. I will post my admition when I get home, I have quite a few pics.
