They are pretty similar, two fat stripes w/ pin stripes. Im thinking white on my Indi......

Anyone have pics?
I too am looking for pictures. I plan to remove the white checkered stripes I have on my car now (previous owner installed them) and am looking at doing some Shelby stripes in either black or charcoal/gunmetal. If someone has this on an Indi car I'd love to see it.

Ah, post #154 in this thread has silver Shelby stripes. What is it with Indi blue and white stripes?

Anything but white is hard to find.

Love your tail lights. Are those the OE Accessory lights, or something you purchased elsewhere?

Coop310,

Sorry to hear how serious the damage is. I hope it works out for you in the end.

03Indigo,

The car looks great, especially with those K-1 wheels.

So... COOP310 (The car anyway) is no more. I got word from my insurance company today (nearly 2 weeks after my accident) that they are calling it a total loss. It turns out that in addition to all of the body work and the unibody damage that the engine block also fractured. It's a sad day... we used the car in our wedding and we brought our daughter home from the hospital in this car and I am very sad to see it go.

We are speccing a new MINI, but sadly Indi Blue is not available.

I think the "eddie mod" only looks good on the newer style headlights. There are a few pics of an older IB MCS somewhere on MINI2.com; I didn't like it that much.

BUT...You might want to buy a pair of these...

My 03 xenons are currently in pieces (I took it apart) , w/ a TSX projector ready for retro.

I took out the glass lens, and was thinking about putting the projector in the hole where the high beams are, and using the old low beams as the new highs (took out the shield too).

Hard to picture, but I can take a quick photo if you want....

Make sense?

I'm new! I have had my 04MCS for just over a month. Here's a picture of her before she was mine. Maybe her previous owner is here? She's in Colorado by way of Brooklyn.

What a bummer.

My former car got smashed and totalled by a red light runner. So now I'm finally in the Mini I've been wanting for years.

Hope you love the new one just as much or more than the old.

Coop310-

Haven't been on in a while, sorry for the loss. Glad you're OK. From your sig, it looks as if you're fairly close to stopping the mini-withdrawal symptoms. Good luck with the new one.

Thanks! The new car is on a boat and should be here around December 1st. I guess i'll get to see if the R56 is as good as the R53. Hopefully it at least comes close.

Thanks and welcome to the IBOC dieann. I have added your name to the list on the first page of this thread. I believe you are #129. (that's a great number to have!)

Since I am no longer an IB driver, I wanted to see if anyone would like to take the reins and keep the first post updated. Please PM me if you are interested, I would hate to see this thread die.
