Just wondering how many Space blue MINI's are out there?

 

We have one in our stable.

 

I have one on the way. Should be here mid-June.

Uncle_John, I thought the munchkin got your MINI? Did you order a new one to fill the hole?

 

I sold my 04 JCW and had enough equity for a good start on her first semester. I still need a way to get to work, so I ordered an 06 MC. Payment drops about a C-note, so there's more pocket money for the munchkin and I get to stay in the hobby with a slightly different perspective.

It should be here in mid June. Meanwhile, I reclaimed the old CRV she drives for work duty.

I just picked up my SB/S MC on Saturday. I just can't stop driving it. I wasn't sure of the color at first, but now I love it!!!

I love it too...When I ordered mine all they had was the swatch...It was tough making the decision...but I'm glad I did.

 

I'm thinking the Space Blue owners are a 'little out there' (if you know what I mean)...and they haven't quite figured out that this board even exist. I know there are a lot of SB's out there - When I ordered my Astro the dealer was telling me how hot and fast the orders for the SB's were coming in ...but where are they all?

 

wekll maybe the SB but people were afraid of the checkmate here...not knowing what it would look like and all.plus I only created this post this morning. So, it's really not a bad responce.

 

Ahh...I see. Again, you're a great father...some of us can only wish we had someone like you growing up.

I picked mine up in Feb. At the time only the second one on the island and the only SB/S.

 

Here is my SB after 1 month.

 

Then it went through a couple face lifts and now it is to the point that I am happy with the way it looks.

 

that's awesome...mine is still going through face lifts and I'll post some pics after this weekend. already have the tinted windows which added a lot. Just had a boot stripe and sunroof added yesterday...looks awesome.
