OK we all own MINIs but what's your second car?
A little project that took 3 years.
454 fuel injected with a Paxton supercharger, cam, crank, MSC ignition, 12" lift, custom frame and most of the suspension is custom, including a solid axle up front. Rides on 44" tires. Aluminum interior floor, 4 racing seats with 5 point harness, Sony stereo. 6 speed Lenco modified.
Some of it is GMC, some of it is Chevy.

I too, am lucky enough to have a second car. A '76 Alfa Romeo. I've owned it for over 15 years. Similar type of pleasure as my SR500 Yamaha gave me. Elemental motoring. The MINI does everything so well. The Alfa, well, you really have to think about what you want the car to do, and then actually work to make things happen. But, they BOTH put a smile on my face.... My wife's car is a Honda CR-V. A wonderfully comfortable, bigger box to haul larger items.
The mini is my daily driver, I also have a 1990 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo, and a 1991 Toyota MR2. Just sold my 1994 Mazda RX7 Twin Turbo... All great and fun cars to drive. The mini is the most fun, just don't tell the rest of them

BTW... How come everyone in Florida has really nice cars? I can go through all the beach cities in California and not see as many nice cars as in Florida! (mostly Miami) Drug Cartels maybe! lol
Car I owned when I first purchased the MINI was my 93 VW Corrado VR6.
Far from ordinary, far from stock. T04S 60-1 turbo, open downpipe and open wastegate (I lost a lot of hearing to this car lol), with an AWIC, Schimmel short runner intake (cast aluminum), and a TON of other stuff to boot.
Now my MINI is my daily (already modded too much to be a daily haha) and my 2005 R1 is my fun in the summer time
.

BTW, Always wear protection
