OK we all own MINIs but what's your second car?
I am going from a Chevy Avalanche 2500HD to a MCSC. Thankfully the truck is a lease so I don't have to worry about negotiating a trade on a 11 mpg vehicle...just drop and run
. The other vehicle is a 2006 Subaru B9 Tribeca...it is the Newfies Hauler.

I used to haul my Newfie in a '92 (?) Subie Loyale wagon. In fact, I bought it used with her in mind (she was having trouble getting or being helped into my Dodge Dakota). I love the Newfs, but she broke my heart; alas I won't have one to travel in our current Subie Outback wagon. The little terrier (who now has Cushing's Disease) and is also breaking my heart is going to travel just fine in the MINI!
F150 Supercrew V8
I bought a used Mini Cooper S because driving the big off-road F150 SuperCrew V8 to work and around town was overkill and it began to cost me $80 a week to fuel.
Now the truck doesn't move from it's parking space much at all. Only Home Depot trips and when my band has a gig, to haul all the equipment. But come winter it should be the other way around if we get much snow.
BTW; I play in a house band every week where there is a little space in the corner of the parking lot that no one can park in. My Mini zips right in there with room to spare. My big amp fits in the Mini and I'm close to the door too.
Could never do that with the pickup. Winding country roads to the place make it extra fun. In the pickup they were more of an ordeal.
My wife has a Chevy Cavalier.

I see a lot of convertibles, MINIs included being driven around with the roof UP and the AC ON.
Buy a large brimmed hat, put on some sun screen, 30+ or more and put the top down.
Why else have a convertible. I only have a sun roof
and you better believe that unless it is Monsoon season, it is back.
Safe Motoring On!!

Mini is the Fav
We have an 03 Lexus LS430 and an 01 Sebring Convertible - The Mini is still my favorite - trying to put the wife in a BRG Mini S Conv when the Sebring dies
Save the Lexus for long trips with lots of luggage!

Wow a 2001 Chrysler product still on the road ...just kidding!
My SO had lowered heself from a Mercedes-Benz convrtible to a BMW Z3 to a Sebring and had about settled on that until I saw the MINI on a mag front cover in 2002. After I finished cleaning the drool of my chin and the floor, she knew she had lost that battle. I still can't convince her that she needs a MINI convertible. As for my other vehicle, I have a 1994 Ranger that I get to drive most of the time because my SO, who doesn't like MINIs, has the MINI all the time to drive back and forth to work and the MALL.
We have a 99 ES300 Lexus and will probably keep it for a good while longer. It's so reliable and even gets good gas miliage(29 highway). We did have a leased 2005 Honda Pilot and we were glad to see it go. It was a gas hog!!
My wife drives an '05 Mercedes E500 wagon with Brabus exhaust and chip. I have an '04 Volvo S60 R with various mods. (see my gallery)
When my MC arrives, the Volvs will become a weekend/foul weather car.

cobra envy
Someday I'll have the means to obtain one. For now I'll be OK with the MCS. I just hope that when I'm able to afford one I'll still want it. Seems to me that when I have the means to do something the desire has been replaced with something else.
Alas....post or PM some pics when you get it in - I'm always happy to see pics of the Cobra

I know I probably replied to this thread originally, but times have changed. I own a MINI ('05 MCS) my other car is a Mini ('79 Cooper) and my wife's new car (an MCS) should land in Charleston this coming week. I have a lawn mower too, but that shouldn't count since you have to push it.

Same color schemes.
