OK we all own MINIs but what's your second car?
My MINI is my second car as well. Daily driver is a rare 1997 Infiniti I30t 5spd. My winter driver is a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder. And the track toy, which i'm unfortunately selling is my 2004 Yamaha R6
Wife's car is an '07 4-door Focus SES. She's an A -> B driver. I'd like to pick up a beater van or pickup truck to haul my scuba gear in, but seeing as I have the Mini now, I think my chances of going diving have dropped significantly.
Mine: '06 MCS CR/B
Wife's: '06 Acura RSX
Family: '08 Mecury Mariner Hybrid
I love the new Hybrid. I liked the Acura for a few months until I got my MINI. Now I'm spoiled. I want to replace the RSX with a MINI Cabrio...

Now all I have left is my MINI with only 2200 miles on it, 1250 miles were on the first day, drove only about 800 miles in 2 years, my other toy is a 95 ZR1 Corvette and as of 2 weeks ago, I bought a New Black Smart car with the 3 cyl. turbo diesel and a 6 spd. transmission as my daily driver, 60-70 mpg. and I can park both the MINI and Smart in one parking stall for a total of 20 ft.
well my dad drives a 2003 passat wagon thats got some mods, and my mum drives a 2001 Golf 1.8T and last but not least my older brother drives a 91 camaro and then i have my MINI

My buddy found a Saleen on ebay from a dealer in the Chicago area for $52k and he just got it tuned on a dyno it was not running right, after the runs, he was putting 412hp at the wheels with 385 ft/lb of torque, not bad numbers.
It now runs really well, it was a $500 tab but was well worth it.
Hope your dad's car is running right, if not tell him to get it tuned, the worst symptom was on the cruise is was sputtering now all is well.

I have a St. Mary's Cadillac, a Ford Ranger XLT, '94 edition with 70k miles on it which is about what I have on our 2003 MINI S. The Ford is my 3rd pickup. Once you own one, it is difficult to be without one especially in Southern Maryland.

Our Mini will be replacing a 1999 Isuzu Trooper
we just sold to make room in the driveway for the Mini. I was hoping to have it around until just before the Mini arrived, but it sold within 24 hours of writing FOR SALE on the side window. It had a little more than 150,000 miles and was still going strong.
My wants for a Mini just over powered me.
We also have a 2003 Ford F150 that we try to save the miles on for camping and towing our jet skis and quads around with.
Then my husbands baby is the 2007 Ford Shelby Cobra GT500.
He took delivery on it 12/06.
He's supporting the Mini purchase to get me out of the drivers seat
of this and back into the co pilot seat.
It's fun to drive little to say.
I'm hoping my Mini will be as fun.
I'm already sure the club fun will be more interesting with the Mini.
All his club wants to do is drive back and forth to car shows and that sums up most of their fun.
They have very few
if any
gathers just to drive about and have a good time.
