Took me a while but I found this thread! I bought my MINI used, so color choice was not an option. I liked it OK at first, but its grown on me tons! Plus it draws a TON of compliments. It seems everyone I talk to expects MINI's to be funky, bright colors. All I ever hear is, Hey, thats a classy lookin ride!

 

I was the exact opposite, I waited until I could find a BRG MINI to buy. MINI's don't get any classier looking then the BRG's.

 

Our local MINI group went on a drive to a local winery this weekend. While there, an older couple were admiring the MINI's and asking me about them. The man commented that the other MINI's looked "sporty" but mine looked more "gentlemanly"

Hello to the BRG clan - d'Mini on his first road trip. I never really considered another color.

 

I had a hard time between Astro Black and BRG but BRG won in the end. Still waiting for mine even though the dealer had at least 3 BRG cars on the lot. I just did not want a car that dozens of people have test driven..

Anyone know if there will be a Booger Run in the SF Bay Area?

 

Cool. Ordered mine today, also new here. I am getting a 06 MCSa BRG/W Sports PKG, bonnet stripes, Convenience PKG, H/K stereo, NAV and rear foglight.
Never even thought about any other color. BRG is my favorite, would have every car that color if I could.
Let the waiting begin.......

cant wait! BRG/BRG MCS, Chromeline and OEM Driving Lamps I wonder if the lamps will make it too busy, I dont think so though as they are not higher than the chrome grill.

Still Trying to get this right! I did IT!!!!

 

New to the list, but man, has it been helpful in making my decision. Got my order in for an '06 BRG MCS (sport, CW, moonroof, Convenience, rear fog, white roof/bonnet stripes/17 in wheels, HK) from Niello in Sacto....sounds like many of the dealers are getting low or done with '06 allocations. Got in under the wire. Maybe in '09 we'll get another BRG for the spouse.

I'll get my sig and other goodies together at some point.

Just an update. Just got word that my new Mini (KPMINI) was shipped yesterday (23 October). Still looking at an end of November delivery date, then my BRG/W Mini Cooper S will be here. Pictures will be after that.

Hi. I have an order placed for a CR/W MCS but lately for some reason i have been starting to get more interested in BRG. I don't know why that is. When i first saw BRG i didn't think much of it. It seemed a bit too dark and for some reason i thought MINIs shouldnt be dark. But now i am leaning more towards it. Plus the fact that every MINI that i see around my town is CR/W.
I was thinking of gettign BRG/W with Shelby Stripes from AC.com
Does anyone have that on theirs.
