I'm in love...

Just picked my new MC this morning!! I've never been more in love with a car and I'm proud to be a BRG/W owner. Getting him striped up next week... OK, time to go zipping around town now

No great pictures yet, I've only had the green machine for 5 days.
Bonnet stripes, painted calipers, and suspension upgrades to come

Me too!

I'm dying to post a new picture after today's detailing session. The BRG is looking great after a treatment with ICE. . .

This didnt post.... anyways!

I just ordered a BRG/BRG MCS with chromline exterior Should be the start of something nice looking! I can't wait to get it home and polish it up!

Chromeline exterior, chromeline interior, anthracite, anthracite headliner, DSC, LSD

anyone have suggestions for a hand wax (non liquid) and treatment for it when I get it? I never bought a new car, I have no idea what could be done considering it probably has a wax on it right? I know though that I want to seal weatherstripping with that clear silicon stuff. Every used car I owned had that cracking and it looked terrible. hm... cant wait but i have to :( no date yet!

El Jefe,

Head over to the detailing 101 forum and you'll find tons of info on waxes.

There seem to be two schools of waxing:

1) those that use a zillion different Zaino products in a bizarre and lengthy ritual to achieve an incredible shine.

2) those that want the best bang for their buck and time that use products like Turtle Wax ICE and Meguiars NXT wax.

Ah yes, I liked meguiars stuff. I used it on my camaro long ago when I had a nice car........ good carnauba natural wax.

CANNOT WAIT TO GET MY MINI

what about protecting the rubber stripping? anything good and simple? and, protecting the synthetic something or other fenders?

Peace!

The only way to go is BRG with white and the white 5 star wheels.

A better aesthetic balance in a car is not to be had.

Am I the only one with double BRG? I want it to look stately. I know black on top causes one less anxiety in making a selection. WHite of course is a fun option, but I am wanting a snobby looking mini critter look.

anyone have pics of a BRG/BRG mini?

I have a double BRG! I love it and it is truly unique! I'm debating tinting the rear windows. Anyone have pics with tint? My wife has a hyper blue with tinted windows and it looks awesome. The double BRG just looks classy!
