We don't have a MINI dealer here, so there's only a handful of them in town. This was the first electric blue I've seen.

 

Nice and EB is a hard color to find anymore in the Gen 1 MINI, yep some States dont even have a MINI Dealership.

 

I looked into an '03 electric blue, and that color has totally grown on me. I dig it. I also missed out on a purple haze, which seems to be more rare.

 

+1 the Purple Haze ( black eyed purple ) most Cooper ( NON S ) , Cool Blue and Hot Orange from the convertible. Silk Green from the old R50 early days. Velvet Red Metallic from 2002+, and Solid Gold Metallic seem to be the rare ones.
For the interior Emerald Green and Tartan Red are very rare.

 

Those emerald green seats are BOSS!

 

I know and very rare, so is that tartan red.
