Yeah, 2009 color will be a true black... not a blue-black like Astro Black. Only problem: Metallic. booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

 

It's called Midnight Black; It is up on the config, but its hard to tell. I have one on order that will be delivered around the 18th of December..... I'll post some photos when I get it.

 

Excellent. Only problem: Won't be able to detect the metallic flakes in pics. Have to see it in person.

I wonder if I could get MINI to make a batch of Midnight Black and just leave out the metallic stuff.

 

Considering ordering a JCW in Midnight black and trading in my Astro Black, even though I really like it.

If anyone is curious, there are pics of the Midnight black in my gallery. You have to get extremely close to even tell that it is a metallic color and the flakes are black and silver. Very pretty

and as for the messed up grass... that's what happens when your neighbor puts down WAAAYYYY to much nitrogen on his lawn, realizes it, and then turns on all of the sprinklers to wash it off.
Result? All of the nitrogen pools up in the low spot on your yard and burns the grass to death , but it grows back... eventually...
