2019 Schwaben/Foxwell Nt510 Elite isnt recognized

So back in 2019 when i had my 2013 MCS i got the Schwaben/Foxwell scanner from ECS tooling, it worked great for what i needed back then.
So now i have a 2024 and it wont recognize the car under OBDII nor under the Mini section.
Even manually adding the vin it only sees 3 sensors so it is basically a paperweight.

Foxwell is of no help, and i have to imagine all i need are newer vehicle files. But the bigger pain is that the FoxAssist doesnt even recognize the serial number and says so, though it adds the serial number to the app at the top of the screen as what it reads from the SN.txt file on the SD card.
The device isnt readable via usb cable so the sdcard has to use the micro sd to USB adapter, which the app then sees, but again says the serial number is not found so i cant do anything in the app.
I even tried on Foxwelltech.us and it doesnt recognize it either.

Back when i got it i had no issues.

Does anyone have one of the "older" schwabben scan tools the NT510 Elite from ECS that still works with newer mini's ? or the older app that works still?, or just the updated files for Mini (probably needs to be a 2023 or newer mini) that i can load on the sdcard and run the "update" and see if it works? pretty please
Btw the current app that does not work with my 2019 model tool is FoxAssistSetup_V2.10.001_2025-02-20_134820.exe

well what a sucky thing, Foxwell says my model is old and retired, go buy a new one.
I buy a new one and its the exact same model w/ newer software.. damn it!
copied off the old files off the sdcard, going to load the new files and see if they work lol.

Lame. If you can load and use the new files on the old device, I would return the new one.

the files/layout of the sdcard is different. maybe, though i highly highly doubt it, there is some change to the hardware, but it is the exact same model, the 14020SCH, the Foxwell NT510 Elite.
I am going to see if it works.
