Anyone using Mini Connected on Android?

I know that there is a Mini Connected app for android (I have it on my phone waiting for the day my car comes in!), but has anyone actually used it? Can you give a few thoughts or a walk through?

I do... I am using the app and connected via USB. Although I can check Facebook and Twitter, I don't use it much. It is not at evolved as the IOS version, I don't have much use for it as of now.

Are you using a standard USB cable? I have a Nexus 5 and it is not connecting, in "connection assistant ask me to connect it via USB even thought it is already connected.

Yes, just using the standard USB cable. I have a Nexus 4, and when I connect, the app automatically turns on.

I've used the Android app a few times. Not really much to talk about. only has Facebook and Twitter update status options. gives you your Range of miles, amount of gas in the tank and total miles up to date on the car. Useless info you can see right on your instrument cluster anyways.. The iPhone app is so much better. has Internet radio interface, you can download different themes for minimalism interface too. Plus news etc... So in short Android app pretty disappointing til now. Hopefully it gets updated soon and catches up to IOS app.

it was the cable, I used another and it just worked

The app was launched three months ago, hopefully they will add more features, as for the news RSS can be used on CNN, NYT, etc.
