R57 Convertable

Haven't been here in quite some time. I've had a love hate with my lil R56 hardtop since the big motor overhaul a few years ago. We were in a hot mess back then! LoL! Anyway. I'm starting to look at R57 Convertibles. What should I be looking for? Any warnings? Last time it was buy on a whim. Bad idea. Any tips?

On the R57 the only things that are really diffrent is the convertible top, make sure it works and the top is in great shape and has not tears or holes.

2011+ Version have the better engines and LCI options/styles.

Rear window

To expand a bit on the convertible top, make sure to check the rear window is properly attached to the top. I've seen some pretty shoddy repair work by gluing the window to the top and it just plain fails.
