Is AAA Engines good or garabage?

I am looking at replacing my R56 N16 engine. The dealership was $8k for a motor but this AAA place wants $3k for a rebuilt one with all new “OEM” components. I’ve read some nasty reviews but they followed up with what seems to be reasonable explanations. Does anyone here have any dealings with them or their product?

You can sometimes find cheaper low mile used engines. ALLMAG auto parts MINI used part places Since you have an N16 engine their is no real performance rebuild engines. Just N18 turbos.

You would be better maybe having a shop rebuild with components from our site unless the block has a hole in it or really toast,
