New Mini Cooper S 4Dr or Clubman
Hi,
I currently have a 2015 mini cooper S 4dr hardtop and love it except for the run flats/pothole devastation. Can't even remember how many tires I've trashed in the potholes of Eastern Pennsylvania. Would like to replace my '15 with a new model with updated safety features and car play etc. but mostly need guidance on which model and which packages are going to give me a car that is fun to drive and not destroyed by potholes. I want to want another type of car, but love the Mini. Money is not really the issue. I don't necessarily need the added space of the Clubman, but am interested in wheel size, or suspension that might result in a difference. Do I need to replace the run flats with regular tires regardless? Does getting a JCW impact this? Do you carry a mini mobility kit as backup when using regular tires instead of the run flats? Get rid of the runflast and go with a smaller wheel with a larger sidewall.
If you have a JCW brakes you are limited to 17"+, but on F55 S without them 16" wheels are great for the winter https://www.ecstuning.com/Mini-2015-...heels/16_inch/
