The hesitation has thus far only happened on the highway, when times I needed a bit more power. For example going up a hill, keeping the same speed...or today I was merging and a car wouldn't let me in so I took my foot off the gas, then when I went back to gas it in made this hesitation again.
I did some research and found this hesitation could be several things. I checked the air filter, took out and cleaned the MAFS, (I've had new spark plugs & coils put in recently also)...so now should I suspect fuel pump? Is that the same as the High Pressure Fuel Pump (is there just one?)

For 2 years at cold start the car takes 30 seconds to warm up, if you try to move instantly it will stall. My mini specialist thinks this could be the HPFP going bad...(but 2 years?) and now I wonder if this hesitation is another sign?
