Custom Decals

Hi all! I'm looking to add some custom decals to my new Mini. I'm wondering if anyone might recommend their best online decal store; one which allows you to upload an image and customize the format of the decal? I would think it should have stickers meant for cars, likely vinyl, unless someone knows of something better. I’m mainly seeking to create larger decals for the hood and rear hatch, though maybe a couple few smaller stickers. I'm also curious whether anyone has an opinion on holographic decals? Thanks in advance!

Cool... great websites! Many thanks @ JackMac.

They offer some interesting possibilities, but I am also surveying websites which allow one to make a decal custom with an uploaded image. Any further suggestions would be appreciated!

You can buy your own vinyl cutter at a crafts store like Michael's or Amazon. Smaller ones are a couple hundred (like a printer) and widths are 12" and length 3+ feet. The vinyl they sell is made by some of the same companies that do car wraps.

By custom are you talking about shapes (curves, checkers, letters, etc.), or something printed like a multi colored graphic or picture? Can you post some pics of similar ideas you’re thinking about?

Holographic vinyl has a higher cost and won’t be as durable, especially on horizontal panels like the hood or roof. I would only recommend it if you’re ok with the short life span and replacing it before it breaks down, or if you’re car is a non-daily or garage queen that’s not exposed to the elements very much.
