It could be a loose spark plug wire.
It could be a cracked cylinder wall. Or anything in between. Buying it cheap without knowing what's wrong - hope for the best but have the money for a worst case scenario.

There could be tons of reasons and to ask that vague of a question will illicit tons of vague responses. The best thing to do is to take it to someone who knows these cars and have them put it on a computer to see what codes there may be, or buy yourself a scanner made for these cars, (Schwaben) to test yourself. There's a reason it's selling cheaply and I would make sure what is causing that cylinder to misfire before I take the plunge. Good Luck..
