PNW Motoring-Neah Bay, WA

Taking a two-day MINI-vacation and doing a car-camping trip to Neah Bay, WA. Roads were nice and twisty, and the weather was perfect.

Pit stop

Camp is set

Hike to Cape Flattery--most NW point of L48

Cool hidden cove

I've got a few things coming via FedEx first. 😉

Not a pulley. WMW had a really good deal going on an x-brace and tower brace. Looking to stiffen the chassis up a little, and I saved quite a bit. Should be pretty quick to install.

I may grab a Milltek exhaust from him too, if I can scrape together enough change.

I do want to see if you can clear my airbag warning light for me though.

We need someone to plan a PNW Motoring day!

I've counted at least 5 of us between Seattle and Portland with Gen 1 cars. Maybe something on 101 in Southern WA/Northern OR?

If I do a one ball mod, I'll just cut up mine. But I'm leaning more towards a new system--I figure by the time I spend $150 or so on a one ball, plus $80-100 on new tips (I HATE the way the stock tips look!), I'm over 1/3 of the way to a Milltek. 😁
