ECS Tuning Error

Good Morning:
I apologize in advance if this is not the correct place to post.

I wanted to give you all a quick heads up that if you purchase parts from ECS and they make an error and ship the wrong parts (They sent two driver side cowls instead of one passenger and one driver side), they wont ship the correct part until they receive the incorrect part back and process the return. In my experience, I don't believe this is a good business practice because I didn't make the error.

Please have a great and safe day in your Minis.

That’s really not all that unusual of a policy. ECS has never steered me wrong. I see some hate out there for them from time to time, and everyone will have their own experience.
It sucks that you are having this issue, especially through no fault of yours. I can understand why you are frustrated, for sure.
good luck

Thank you :-) Itll work out on the end. I wouldn't have a problem with it if I ordered the wrong part.

I get that. If it’s on me, we’ll....lesson learned, lol.
But when it’s not your fault it can be annoying, especially if you are trying to get the car buttoned up. But ECS has always been excellent with customer service, so I’m sure it will work out.

I had the same issue with a set of Koni red shocks that were sent to me with minimal packaging and had already been installed on a car! I had to send out the used set of shocks before they'd send me the new set, but that is just life. They sent me out the new shocks with improved packaging, and were actually new shocks this time, so they fixed their problem!

They are pretty good about standing with their products.
I have only really had one major issue with an order, and it was a mistake on my end. A quick phone call (seriously less than 5 minutes) had the order straightened right out. I have only had good experiences with them
