Custom NAM Coffee Blends
AWD_Rally is a Veteran that owns an Organic Coffee Company. He also happens to be a Moderator here. Recently he floated an idea in our Moderators Lounge about coming up with a coffee blend for those that own MINIs and donate profits to a charity that we the members choose.
Any interest in this?

I think we need to come up with specific blends, names, and label artwork to go with each model.
R50: OG for Original GoKart (light and zippy)
R53: Supercharge me (on the strong side)
R56: Walnut Blast (medium, with a hint of walnuts)
R56LCI: Turbo Morning (a dark, dark, very strong french roast)
If you think those are lame then come up with something better. Meanwhile, sign me up for a pound of Turbo Morning.

When I reached out to AWD_Rally to help out on the Countryman side, I said I was looking for somebody that could check in each day. He said he was really busy with everything he had going. I got thinking and after kicking myself in my butt I got back with him and said basically that this is a volunteer thing and if he help in anyway it would be great.
He will be around here checking and hopefully give us some more info.

I usually use "Black Silk" K cups these days because I'm lazy and don't always need a whole pot of coffee. Right now for loose ground I order mine through a dealer in Tampa that sells a brand that I got addicted to when I lived in Panama. If he can come up with something like that I'd be in for a couple pounds of "Lightly Modified" brew.

Several good Vet charities. Just make sure the percentage of income going to the benefit is the highest. A good resource for identifying such is Charity Watch. You can search for charities by category. Here's an example:

The SkiBum overlooked a 5th flavor, that of one for the R52, maybe "Wind In Your Hair"?

Working on getting a North American Motoring Coffee Blend together as noted above, AWD_Rally is a Moderator and a Veteran that owns a coffee company. To get this going would need to have 100 packages lined up to be purchased so that the NAM label can be made up. This is an organic grown coffee so it is not cheap. AWD_Rally is also willing to donate some profits from the sale to a charity and a post above notes a Veteran Charity. I have a link to the top rated Veteran Organizations out there.
So who is interested? I will purchase if can get this off the ground.

Not suggesting duplicating this but it is kind of cool packaging.
