stage2 - sees redline 5-10 times weekly

I'm a firm believer in 2 things:

#1 its boost that kills not RPM.. always wind it up before you go deep into boost.
#2 if its boosted.. oil changes @ 3k ..or give me death.

Using 'merican units, the torque and hp always meet at 5,252rpm. If you are using watts, CV, or any other units then they will cross at a different rpm - it has nothing to do with optimum shift points. For the Mini's natural torque curve this works out pretty well, but understand that is purely by coincidence and not design.

2005 JCW / RMW car with Meth. 105,000 on the clock and still modding.

These little w11 motors in the 1st gens love high revs. That’s why we run the Dragon in 1st and 2nd only.

What is a red line ? Lol. I wind my car all the way out to 8 grand all the time. That’s what I built it to do.

Custom RMW BVH, ViPEC ECU, wideband, 17%, Grand AM CAM, 100% VP M-1 meth, injectors, tune....on and on.

Yup, I change my oil every 3,000 also. I am ocd about maintenance so my car is always in top shape.
