My 2009 mini cooper has punch leather seats in carbon black which are saggy/stretched, does anyone know how I can fix this? Thanks

 

 

It is testament to the low quality of the leather. Leather cannot be unstretched. Ask an upholstery shop if they can replace the material.

 

I had a defect in my bottom leather seat cushion, and the dealer replaced it at no charge. The new leather surface was saggy from the beginning and I was told that after some time it would tighten up.

I was never able to get them to fix it properly- it makes me wonder if its not the leather, but the seat cushion (foam) underneath it that compresses and makes the leather look sloppy?

 

I have had both leather types and the lounge leather is higher quality and didn't suffer from this problem. Always possible but unlikely lounge leather has better quality foam underneath.
