118,000 for $3500
It has an aftermarket intake.
No known mods other than that.

It has had some suspension work recently but I think it was just oem replacement parts.
Bought it about an hour south of Tampa, FL and drove it to Indiana in 2 days.

Drove fine. Just needs a little TLC

And it’s beautiful, too! 😍🏎💨

I do enjoy my 2015 but the R53 remains the absolute most engaging and visceral to drive. I’m positive you’ll love it!

It has had the 100,000 service done by Mini.
Tie rods, A arms, Brakes/rotors, clutch at 90K.

It has an oil pan gasket leak but other than that, no major issues.

Has the harmonic balancer been replaced? Its a common OEM item that fails often and unpredictably.

The wheels are curbed to death. I may try to repair them if I can't find a cheaper set.

Check thru the mini owner's lounge to see if there any service records if you don't want to talk to the dealer. Any work that has been preformed by a dealer on my car appears there last time i checked.

Just registered and checked. Nothing in there since 2006.

Google "wheel repair". Lots of places refurbish them, usually much cheaper than replacing them.

I can do it myself for free. Well the cost of materials.

Just never seen a wheel with "Thick" paint like this.

2006 “S” model Oxy sensor heater wiring

Hi; I’m new to Minis. Just picked up a 2006 R53 convertible with high miles, but running good, except get P0053 code (upstream 02 sensor heater fail).

PO changed two of them, so doubtful the unit-failure is the issue.

I understand the two black wires may be the heater circuit for the sensor???

I got a useless online Haynes manual, which doesn’t have detailed enough wiring info.

can someone point me in the direction of a good wiring diagram for a 2006 S series?

thanks

Need help finding O2 heater relay plz…

Previous owner changed two O2 sensors (upstream). Still getting P0053 code.
it’s in the heater circuit. I don’t believe it to be “sensor” portion that is bad because it only comes on when car is cold. If I cleared previous check engine light and start when cold, after two or so miles, I get the warning light.

At engine operating temp, if I clear the code and keep driving, the check engine light DOES NOT come on again.

this makes sense because the sensor really doesn’t need to be heated when hot; only when first starting.

I drove about 30 miles this way with no more light.

let it sit overnight, and it comes up again, until cleared (and hot). I suspect the upstream, O2 sensor relay is bad.

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE THAT RELAY IS LOCATED???
