Get a 1st (ish) generation bug-eye Subaru WRX! the 2002 WRX was the best car I ever had.
Ive been looking to get one, strip it down, and start rally racing again. They are very affordable used, about 4-8K max. There are a lot of replacement parts too so it wont be that expensive to work on by any means. A new stock turbo and maybe coil packs would be all you would need an thats about $500 if that.
Damn it, now I miss that car again.

I miss my e36 M3, they drive great, lots of feedback, little assist, cheap to track/autocross and they are fast
I wont trade my r53 for one, at least not now but if I was shopping for reliable cheap sporty car they would be on the list

Ok, Ok - I will keep the R53....
I have new Bilstein B4 strut insets sitting on the shelf along with new strut mounts, just have not had the time to change them.
Thanks !

Contact a company called Safety Restore regarding your air bag module. The dealership told me I needed a new module also. I sent my existing module to Safety Restore and had it back in a week, it worked perfect. No reprogramming from the dealership or anything. The cost with shipping and everything was less than $75.
