Flat towing my Mini Cooper S

I have a 2005 Mini Cooper S convertable and would like to tow it behind my RV. I have a Blue Ox tow bar and Base plate set up. I need to leave the steering wheel unlocked and I'm being told I just need to pull the fuse to bypass the ignition switch. I'm normally a mechanical guy but I have no idea what fuse ti pull. CAN SOMEONE HELP me before I pull my hair out?? Thank you! BatteryguyMike

Why are you trying to pull as fuse, so the wheel turns with the switch on? If yes, disconnect the negative terminal on the battery and you have cut all power.

How are you going to address lights, make a harness to tie into your RV or put some temps on?

To have the wheels follow my RV the steering wheel needs to be unlocked and to unlock the steering wheel I need to turn the ignition to the first position which in turn puts the power on to the dash and will drain the battery.
I'm told to pull a fuse to bypass the ignition but don't know which fuse?

So you want to be able to use the lights on the MINI?

I am thinking that FL7 is the 50A fuse for the ignition BUT it is located on the bottom of the engine bay fuse box. You need to remove the air filter box and the ECU in order to turn the fuse box over. IMO resetting the radio and clock is a piece of cake compared to taking FL7 out that is held in place with screws, lose one and you are SOL.
