TPMS Sensor

One of my TPMS wheel sensors has failed. Used ones are available on eBay for around $50. QUESTION - if I purchase and have installed, can the system merely be reset using the "normal" dash reset control or does it have to go to a dealer for some "computer magic"? This question is for a 2008, Std, 2 door Mini Cooper...

Normal dash reset will work fine. No dealer visit required.

I haven't tried the less expensive TPMS sold on eBay and Amazon, but the reset process shouldn't be any different because it is the car learning the sensor — the sensor isn't really an active participant in the process and requires no programming.

Instructions are on our website, and valve stem is $21.50. Transmitter is more.
Please let us know if we can help!
