I was driving to the nearest dealer (200 miles away) to get some warranty work done on my Mini when a car in front of me swerved suddenly and before I could react I center punched a piece of truck tire laying in the road. It knocked both my airs scoops off. Then, about 30 miles later traffic stalled and as I came to a stop a distracted driver in a pickup slammed into me.

 

Bummer. Pix or it didn't happen..

 

Yeah, that's a sh*tty day all right. Sorry to hear. I hope that you're OK (and any passengers) and the damage is easily, quickly, and correctly repaired.

 

This my first attempt to post a picture so I hope this works! It is a picture of the back end of my Mini that got hit by the pickup. I didn't think to take a picture of the front damage from the road alligator (I was still a little shook up!).
