Bluetooth dilemmas
Bluetooth dilemmas
I have a 2012 Countryman and despite some service issues really love driving my car. However, my bluetooth issues are driving me over the brink. Had an android motorola moto X used to connect without problems then after an upgrade, would lose the connection on a regular basis. Upgraded phone to a Samsung Galaxy 7. Phone connects on occasion after numerous attempts including deleting pairing, rebooting resetting to original settings etc. The Phone will connect then drop the connection. The phone works perfectly on my audi and acura so its not the phone. Called mini asked if there was an upgrade to their bluetooth system. Was told problems exist on Apple and Samsung (duh thats about 90% of the phones) suggested to delete pairing and try again (of course had done that 1500 times already) then it connects good for a week disconnects...takes another week or two to reconnect ...same old story. If I cant get this fixed, i must part with this car even though I don't want to! Any suggestions, mini has not been helpful at all. Thanks
Only time mine has given me trouble is with multiple connections. Mini Phone, Obd2 adapter, Adapter for aux input etc. They will not play nice together, have to have my phone only connected to car
