Car shuts off while driving(fuel pump in tank)

I had an interesting situation where my car would turn off on me while driving, typically at very low rpms, and also typically in the worst situation i could ask for. The battery would still work fine, but it wouldn't start up afterwards unless i waited around 30 min or so to start, each time it died(3 times), the period i needed to wait got longer and longer.
Turns out it was my fuel pump, the one in the fuel tank.
Shop is asking $922 for the fuel pump, fuel filter, oil change, and to fix my antenna mast(cracking). This is NOT the same as the HPFP, which i have also had fail, the hpfp makes it nearly impossible to start your car, the in tank fuel pump will shut your car off while you are driving, which obviously is not very safe.
Just a heads up for anyone that has this problem of what it could be, because i found nothing when i searched. Also does this price like right to everyone?

Yes, do you have a Bentley Manual and access to tools? If you don't have a manual, it may be wise to get one as it will come in handy while you begin to work on your own MINI. They are HERE if needed.

Parts if needed:

Oil filter HERE
Drain plug washer HERE
Oil HERE
Fuel pump HERE (not HPFP).
Fuel filter HERE.
Antenna (stock and stubby options) HERE

Let me know if you have any questions as I'd be happy to help.
