Houston Texas Carbon buildup treatment

Hello yall,

this is my first post, I am trying to get reccomendations from people who have had the carbon buildup walnut blasting and can send me info on reliable and fair priced mehanics or shops.

my mini is Clubman S 2012, 71,000 miles.

Why do you think you need it? Carbon buildup on the n18 engine can happen, but it's not widely reported..

Hello Bobby - as said above the carbon build up on the N18's aren't as bad as the previous N14's, but it does happen. You can have your valves inspected to see if a clean up is necessary. Typically, a clean up pricing ranges anywhere from $300-$700 (depends on the shop). You can use this site HERE to help you find a MINI indy shop that can help you out.
