I remember reading this thread about a guy who got a loaner car and returned it with a couple of thousands of miles and pissed off the dealership. I can remember laughing. There was also a screenshot of the mileage sheet.

my dealer has us sign a loaner car agreement ... first we do a walkaround inspection for damage, noting any damage on a diagram of the car and noting the mileage and fuel quantity
the agreement allows 75 miled per day and states the cost per mile of any overage and the cost of fuel if returned with less than the amount when getting the car
upon return, the same externsl inspection and mileage/fuel level is done
keeps everything fair to all
