I'd shy away from super low mileage cars unless you're a collector. Cars are meant to be driven. Lack of use = problems when you start to daily drive it.

It never improved. There were minor cosmetic changes for the 2005 refresh, but nothing that would be considered an improvement in quality or materials (except for the expensive, higher quality English Leather option that was added in the final years).
