I googled 'what is auto conversion title' and got some varied responses. If you tried google and included the state you're talking about you might get an exact answer.

Maybe they converted the problem riddled prince engine to something else...

 

Its an r53 Mini Cooper s but the title says nothing about it being an s. Thought maybe that might be it. Did a car fax and it listed it as an s though. Idk

 

it may mean the title was transferred from a different state. Check with your title office if its really a concern.

For example, was the engine replaced so the VIN numbers for the body and the engine do not match?
