DIY splitter/ front lip

I'm looking for a cheap solution that I can make myself and is generally effective. I plan on attaching it to the underside of the body via oem clips/screws and maybe some 3m automotive adhesive.

I'm thinking maybe some abs plastic as it would look cleaner than wood. Carbon fiber is way out of my price range. Is fiberglass an option? I'm not sure the costs/labor included.

I'm open to any ideas

Lexan. It's lite, strong, cheaper than most. There is guy who sells these for like $100 , you may have to trim the back side depending on your bumper style. To mount use 10-12 of the rubber nut zert things, they expand and hold on well, up to 140 so far but I also have 2 8" long braces. There is a whole big thread in the for sale section.

Here is a cool thread on NAM about a DIY of a front lip.

I looked into this but I don't want to drill into my car, the 3M adhesive tape doesn't hold up, and it doesn't provide any purpose other than aesthetics. If I could get away without drilling it and still having it adhere then I'd be more for it. It really doesn't look bad.

Can you possibly drop me a link? I'm having trouble finding it.

I like the idea of lexan...
