Hey guys,

I've got an R56 MINI. My door panels are scuffed and damaged just from previous owners kicking the door open and what not. Was thinking of taking them off and painting them...

Other option: sister's MINI is officially flooded and totaled. Thinking of taking mine off and putting her gloss black ones in my car.

Questions:

1. Can you pop them off with a plastic wedging tool?
2. Anybody know of a guide of how to do this?

Tools aren't even required. Just pull in the correct places, it'll pop off after removing the trim around the door handle.

 

integral audio has a VERY good install pdf for installing their Upgraded Sound System "Soundstage' in a mini, inside of it they go over how to remove the door panels [page 14] so you can install speakers, but should get you the info you're looking for.

 

That installation PDF was perfect for describing the procedure.
