Personally, I think they look better with stripes. Mine came without, been thinking of getting some on it.

I think they look good either way. That said, I prefer stripes.

Those are both great. I've been considering some sort of body graphics. Where did you find the pulse, of did you make it yourself?

I have a mini t shirt with that on it. The place that did the stripes on both cars designed it, made it and installed it.
I would think a good stripe place can make anything you want

Personally, I'm not a fan of stickers on my car, period, so I took mine off. I think it makes our cars look MUCH cleaner, and less "boy racer", but that's just me

Minis began having stripes in the early 1960s when John Cooper began modifying them for the street and rallies. Cooper won the Formula 1 Championships in 1959 and 1960. His race cars had widely spaced white stripes on the front and he did the same to the Minis he upgraded. Thus, the wide stripe format on today's MINIs.

That's a cool piece of history I did not know.

I don't care for the bonnet stripes on my CMS. They don't look complete; like an afterthought. I want to change them out for something else but can't decide. I'm thinking of a offset stripe. Have you all seen a CM with an offset?

Yes, though I might be biased.

I say yes. In my mind's eye the classic look of a Mini has stripes.

I agree. The darker colors like ours (I have iced chocolate metallic) look nicer clean, no stripes. I'm waiting until it gets a bit warmer to remove mine.

+1. Certain colors and roof combos have an "elegance" to them that gets ruined with decals or stripes. Some colors can go either way though. I use to have an oxygen blue w/ white and I always wanted stripes. Now I have pepper white w/ black and stripes and while they I like that I finally have them and they don't bother me, I'd be okay not having them on this color

Yes, it's Mini's identity.
