Repainting Interior?

Hi so I have a Blue/Black/White mini and the interior is black and silver I want to repaint it but no clue on the colors. I don't know if I want to change the silver on the car or just repaint it silver and make it look better than it does in a couple of the photos.

I'm with you there... I have been thinking about using paint on a few of my interior parts and I thought about doing some wrap... and the cost of NEW replacement parts are a bit high...

If you paint I would want to get a lot of clear on it after so it is less likely to wear.

I'm still considering..

Motor on!

Hard to well....
Plastics can be painted as long as a flex agent is added ....

Many have gone with leather covers (down tubes and door grabs)....easier...and makes the car feel like a luxury car....something too look at IMO. Many colors available...

I would do leather but absolutely hate it taking care of it is a pain. I want to do painting because it looks the best vs. a coverup. Still very undecided about color, but my friend says she thinks silver like original looks good. No clue.

Prepping is the key....
Best to spend HOURS cleaning and prepping...do it once...
Do it half azzed... Get paint chipping and peeling...could become a nightmare...
The best thing about leather....it us basicly carefree if it is a quality product...will oulast fabric or vinyl.... Cheap leather...yeah...you can wipe it, condition it...still crap.
The renline (I think) leather parts do what you want...
As for paint...body colour was an option....
A few pics of folks going to others...looks...er...OK..a bit "ricy" IMO for my tastes...
Stock silver is OK...not sure it is worth a ton of effort for that change...high wear parts...maybe swap out worn with silver salvage parts...

..

there is also a carbon fiber wrap available online. ive seen it for the circle part on the door panel as well as the handle/ arm wrest on door panel. the down tubes and the silver part of your dash. just another option for you.

Luckily I can't find any pictures of clapped out interiors but, I would suggest wrapping them with vinyl instead because rattle canning it can go south real quick. I have seen way to many interiors get screwed up from people painting the interior.

I'm surprised plasti-dip hasn't been suggested yet. If you goof up or if you decide you want to change colors all you do is peel off the old and spray on the new.
