So I picked up 09 S yesterday and I noticed a switch to the left of the steering wheel and a **** that turns bout the range of a half moon. What could that be. There is no and hasn't been a aftermarket radio in it. Could it have something to do with the turbo? I'm lost..... The only thing I can think of is if it was for an amp but the car hasn't had any aftermarket system, it does have a silly exchaust n a home made intake that are coming of today!!!

Update!!!!!!
Just got back from muffler shop n the guy up there said he put the exhaust on the car. It has No cat, no muffler n No O2 sensors. He said the guy that owned told him he Just spend $2,200 tuning the car and put a O2 sensor delete in the computer??? So the codes won't come up, and they don't. I saw it ..it doesn't have one O2 sensor. Then the switch is to turn some tune on n the **** is the intensity..??..So I leave,,... flip the switch and turn the **** with leaving my foot in the same spot (2nd gear) n Yup she took off but it just sounded like the turbo spooled up big time. I left it up (the ****)and its a Freakin Beast for sure but guys I don't know what it should feel like so I don't have a lot to compare it to. Can I still out a muffler on it. He said it was tuned to that intake n exhaust but could that be. I just don't wanna blow up a beautiful car and it sounds like the last guy might of had more money than.........

Also someone just cut the muffler Off... I'm going up to but a replacement until I can buy a real nice exhaust. It is a turbo so should I get anything special (it's just a regular muffler shop.

 

after creaking my neck back viewing upsidedown pictures, no that is by no means stock. Could be any number of crappy addons, try tracing the wires...

?? Could be a cut switch and/or volume for radar detector (an issue in Virginia, DC, and Canada) or for laser jammers. I would first check for a tap-a-fuse in the fuse box.

No not a race or track car but it does have a bad a'' intake and some crazy exhaust n it's FAST for sure. It looks stock other than intake,exhaust, switch, and ****.

 

When you flip the switch Then turn the **** something does happen. I hear the turbo kick in a lot louder n she takes off with my foot in the same spot. I even had my wife do it so I could see if it was just me n she got somewhat freaked out, it took off on her. What the heck is it...lol i got the old owners number now but I'm a little concerned bout calling him. Hopefully he won't think I'm a weirdo for tracking him down
