What is in a name......

I have always thought that it was cheesy to name your car. I admit to naming 1 or 2 of my cars, 1 being a 2000 Grand Am GT, named her Red, since it was red (fun car), but swore I wasn't going to name the MINI. I also said I would never own a small Euro car. People sometimes change there opinions about things when they experience life first hand, the second I test drove my MC40 I realized this car, unlike the smart cars and the majority of new Fiats (I think Fiat has 1 or 2 that is sporty'ish), is very much a little sports car especially since this one is lowered and has wheel spacers, the handling is ridiculous.

So anyway, I had a name pop in my head last night and I couldn't get it out. For some reason I was thinking Robin, and it would suite her, Red Robin was what I thought of (my cars are always girls, go figure). Today I was thinking I might name it something a little more formidable and always love Looney Toons and my favorite was Wiley Coyote and the Road Runner so I think her name might be Road Runner (my only issue is I will bet there are other red cars that someone named Road Runner).

So I leave to you people of NAM, what will my little MC40 be named?

1. Red Robin (original, classy, could be Robin Red also, a little plain though maybe?, IDK, maybe not)

2. Road Runner (more aggressive, cheeky, good for a racing name but probably more common)

Please look at the pictures in my gallery and tell me what name you think best suites MY MINI (not what you think a red MINI should be named), and tell me why (show there was some thought put into your decision is much appreciated).

If you have another name that pops in your head feel free to suggest it but please still vote on 1 of the other 2.

Okay I'll bite.

I think Red is the perfect name. I dig the seats, are they stock?

Maybe Red Too? Or Red Runner? Or RedRoadRunner? RRR? (pronounced like a pirate).

I think Looney Tune may even be a good name for her (your car, not your wife)....though I have known girls who would be well suited to be named Looney Tunes...

I have not been able to think of a good name for mine, though I also like the name Zippy, Bruiser, Steve, Super Cooper...

To differentiate for our kids we call mine, "Daddy's blue coopah cah"

What indeed, is in a name?

Car looks very nice. I'd stick with your original thought; naming cars is silly.

If you must, I like red robin better, but it makes me think of bacon cheeseburgers. Mmmmm... Bacon cheeseburgers... *drool*

The seats are stock MC40 seats (40th Anniversary Monte Carlo Limited Edition MINI www.mc40.com) and are quite nice. My car is a bit of a conundrum but I am mostly certain it is a MC40 since it has 90% all the right stuff and the placard (the placard is vital as they are not reproduced anymore).

And Looney Tunes would suite both properly lol.

Thanks for the input guys, on any other forum I might have gotten a bunch of haters replying.
