I am thinking of getting the Automatic Smart Driving Assistant gadget for my R60. Info is here. https://www.automatic.com/

They confirm it works with all Mini's in the US. (Not sure about overseas, and they don't support diesel for the most part either, which isn't a US issue anyway.)

Just wondering if anyone here has experience with it and any comments on it.

 

It looks like it combines Torque with the MINImulism portion of Connected. Too bad you couldn't just buy the app and use a generic OBD 2 Bluetooth module.

 

I didn't buy Connected though, so for me, this is $80 vs $750 for Connected.
