Hey guys ! I have always been a Mini guy and have owned two minis, both S's. I currently have my 2011 Mini Cooper s. I test drove the new mini and I like the ride but HATE the look. For some reason I decided to test drive the Abarth which I have always thought was cool (I'm Italian so I have a spot in my heart for it). I REALLY enjoyed it. The sound the drive the feel in the cockpit. I loved it. But I'm not sure if I should trade in my MINI or not. Do you think I'll miss the extra power my S has compared to the Abarth?? I mean I live in Hawaii so I'm not pedal to the metal often but I enjoy a good drive on windy roads with a little bit of power. What are your guys thoughts! Thanks!

 

I don't know, minimike21. Do you really want to trade all the fun your MINI has to offer for a Abarth?

 

Go for it. I think it would be a fun car.

 

A fellow. PDX MINIac thought the same thing, he's now in a 2013 GP, had the Abarth for less than a year. I think you now where this story ends, once a MINIac always a MINIca!! 😉
