I received a package in the Mail today. It was a in a reusable bag from MINI
I bought My 2013 Mini Cooper S Coupe at the end of August , so maybe this is for new Mini customers?

Inside:
1)The Mini international magazine.

2)"let's motor" rubber band.

3) A large die -( don't know what for?)

4) A "rubber" Mini - I thought at first was an eraser, but turns out to be a 16gb flash drive - Cool.

5) A stick-on name tag.

6) A book "101 fundamentals of cool motoring".

7) A black "mini' diary/log/journal

8) "Motor like a pro" post card.

9) An information book.

Very cool

 

Maybe the large die is to hang from the rear-view mirror.

 

Could be, it does have one small hole in one of the corners. But no string.

 

That's gotta be what it's for!

 

I would actually like to see the book!!

 

I got a package after about six months. Did you sign up on mini's website to track your vehicle?. I use the mini flash drive at work.

 

I bought my vehicle used at a Toyota dealership.
Is the tracking only for new??

 

If you mean tracking it from custom orders then yes, it's only for new cars.

it's for the antenna. i got an 8-ball with my care package. others have received happy faces.

 

at the 'special showing' of (new) Italian Job they had Italian Job ant' ***** for us, yellow with black lettering ... and I used that for many years. My 07's 'box' also came with an 8 Ball - I still have it btw - but by then I was using



A yellow orb makes the car easy to find in the parking lot!

 

My MINI dealership had foam checkered flags on their cars now. They are free.

 

I also got the package with the foam die, now I know what it is for.

 

I feel ripped off. My package arrived a week or two ago, flash drive was only 1 GB. And the single file on it, a web link, was to a 404 error.

 

Hmm I still have not gotten my care package in the mail...how long did it take for everybody?

Mine showed up yesterday...almost 4 months to the day I took delivery.

 

I also got my care package..with the same stuff in it...its cool.. I got it about 4 months after delivery .

 

6 months here.

 

4 months for me, and the drive is 1MB - not 16. Also included a nice ballpoint pen and a MINI-shaped paperclip. And if you turn the delivery bag inside-out, it's a small backpack.

 

Yes, sorry - 1GB .
I also forgot to list the paper clip and pen.

I got mine just one month after my new(est) MINI. Different stuff in the bag though (I think OP's stuff is cooler!)



Best part, though is the gunny sack- I use it every day!
