Headers & Exhaust

This thread you can post anything about headers all the way to your exhaust. Talk about your set-up, ask questions and what not. But really quick, I have a question.
I was wondering what the best headers to pair up with a straight pipe cat-back exhaust would be? and would it make a difference if I put a MagnaFlow resonator after the cat compared to a regular resonator from the muffler shop for the straight pipe exhaust? would they sound the same or what? thanks, and happy posting!

edit: and to be more specific im talking about a 2004 R53 Mini.

You can get aftermarket header anywhere from $200(on ebay) - 900 or more. I personally use a Mynes V2 header with a fabricated OEM cat. and resonator deleted, my cat back is JCW. I am very happy with the sound and performance.
