Really cool instrument cluster

I saw this today at REI. Was on a convertible, 1st gen I think. Mini should do this natively. Is this custom or does anyone know if this is/was a kit?

I really like that too. It looks custom because we'd all have it in our cars if it was a kit.

That is a 1st gen with chrono package. Moves speedo next to tach and puts the gauges in the large center location.

I see PSI. Doesn't look like a cluster move. Looks like more gauges?

Indeed! Thanks. Google Chrono package mini cooper and a lot of info comes up.

Too bad this isn't available anymore. I'd have ordered it in a heartbeat.

That's super cool. Wish we had a clean looking gauge solution for 2nd gens... I do NOT like the solution of pods around my steering wheel.

All it takes is someone with money and a will to get it done. Buy some aux guages, transplant them all into a custom gauge face, 3-d print some matching needles, run some wiring / plumbing, and voila! You could probably turn the openometer into an analog speedo too if you wanted it next to the tack like the 1st gens.
