I'm in the market for a new Mini so I have to sell my current one. Ive only had it for a couple months and only put about 1000 miles on it. I only used it to learn how to drive stick and take my road test on it. With that many miles, will it be impossible to sell. I think the previous owner thought I was a sucker . There aren't major problems just the AC doesn't blow cold, it needs a new clutch release bearing and guide. The exterior is in decent shape for the miles, a couple long scratches, chips, dents, dings, and a all patch of bubbling under the rear taillight. The interior if decent as well, the leather seats showing some stress marks. I paid $3,300 for it and put about $1500-$2000 into it for new struts, strut mounts, axles, door lock actuator, and of course the labor. I really don't want to lose that much money on it and i'm asking $5000. Ive had a couple people contact me but the mileage scared them away. I just hope i'm not going to be stuck with it. Please share all advice you have. Thank you so much.
